Leon is a respectful and polite young man who loves to joke around.  One of his caseworkers shares, “Leon is quiet at first, but once he gets to know you he will let his guard down, have conversations with you and let his jokester side come out.

 

Leon loves seafood, listening to R&B and rap music, going camping, and gardening.  He enjoys playing action-adventure video games, and playing and watching sports, such as basketball.

Karl is a very sweet and comical young man who is the first person to offer to help others.  He enjoys making crafts, woodworking, building things, playing video and card games, swimming and participating in school sports.  Karl loves watching football and follows his favorite team, the Giants, and is now interested in playing tackle football. Karl recently joined boy scouts. 

 

Karl’s favorite subject in school is math and his least favorite is reading. He aspires to be a carpenter where he can use his hands to build things. His other vocational goal is to enroll in the army.

  

Karl wants to find a family that is very active with him, whether it’s going out to see a new movie in theaters or helping him pursue activities such as boy scouts or football. He loves animals, especially big dogs and gets along well with younger children.

Ian is a very friendly and energetic child. When he meets someone new he tends to be shy, but once he gets to know you he will open up and you'll see he loves to talk. He is honest and will let you know exactly how he feels. He enjoys one-on-one interaction and loves to laugh and joke around. Ian is caring and protective of those he cares about.

Myrical is an avid reader and enjoys the works of author John Greene.  Her favorite books are “A Fault in Our Stars” and “An Abundance of Katherines.”  She likes books with some romance and drama.  She enjoys board games, has a pretty good strategy for Connect Four, and is always willing to play a game of cards.  Softball is her favorite sport, but she would like to try track and field because she enjoys running.
